Which, if any, of the six (?) algae phyla are known to be monophyletic, as defined by their nuclear DNA?
For those which are monophyletic, is the LCA in each phylum hypothesised to be a eukaryote?
Are Chlorophyta a phylum within Plantae (cladistically)? If not, what is their relationship with Plantae?
