When a foreign object enters a cell, the cell interprets it as foreign and tries to dissolve it using lysosomes. The cell can differentiate foreign and non-foreign macromolecules. What prevents us from developing artificial organelles that can perform multiple tasks and work more efficiently than the natural ones we have now?

I think the biggest trouble is taking down MHC interpretation to immune cells since they’re very specific….

yeah, also, we CAN’T make things that work better than nature does.
