I have watched a few of those shows on
National Geographic Channel
here is my thought on it:

I think SOMETHING is going on, but
I am waiting to see if they can find more conclusive proof.

Native Americans have reported there
is a bigfoot long before whites came to America.
I think they are a credable source.

Also it seems there is some evidence
that there is something out there.
Whatever it is is highly intelligent and
knows to avoid man.

But as people keep building in to wilderness areas
it will only be a matter of time that we shoud find out.
And they are doing dna tests on fur:

I think that the majority of sightings
are practical jokes. some people just cant resist
