how does SA/V ratio influence diffusion, and the survival of the cell? ❓

The larger the cell the smaller the SA/V ratio becomes. As cells become larger and larger there is not enough SA to allow for diffusion into and within the cytoplasm. When a cell gets to big it cannot survive.

A good answer in biology class that answers a lot of biology questions is, "INCREASED SURFACE AREA." Another good answer is, "I don’t know."
