Is the chloroplast, in any way, associated with lipids?

well, the membranes are usually made from lipids 😉

But I guess you mean metabolism, right? It provides the reductants for biosynthetic pathways in cell.

also plastoglobules are lipids found in chloroplasts that have involvement in the biosynthesis of tocopherols.
