Hey, anybody knows anything about cramps? What causes them exactly? How to prevent them? What to do when you get one?

Yeah, well, thanks, but i’ve already tried that. I was hoping someone could explain it to me in simple words.

Basically, for relaxation of muscle you need calcium. If you’re lacking it, your muscles are not able to relax and you get crap 🙂

Menstrual cramps can be helped with magnesium (in balance with calcium levels). This is because the uterus is a smooth muscle, and magnesium relaxes the strong contractions.

I increased my potassium a little (don’t want to get heart palpitations from too much potassium) and they subsided (a banana will help with potassium and magnesium).
