hey guys 🙂
i need some definitions as i cant find them all:

Adaptive immuntity (im pretty sur eof dat 1 but need conformation)
Diptheria
Living attentuated micro-organisms
Toxoids
extracted antigens
artificial antigens

my bio dictionary and the one on this site dont hve these so thanks for any help

well ive found em and guessed them but im still a little unsure about extracted and artificial antigens

can any1 help there?

extracted = got from the natural producer
Artificial = synthesized (i.e. IMO like monoclonal antibody)

[PERO]

toxoids = toxines but not harmfule.
for ex. toxoines from Chlostiridium botulinum + methanal => toxids
so, toxids will cause allergic reaction, but wont cause illnes ( vacctination)
