I started to work with DNA and a new inorganic complex. The complex and the biopolymer are soluble in the current solvent system (20% DMSO / Tris-HCl 5mM; NaCl 50mM pH 7.2) to give a clear solution. The problem is that when i mixed up my inorganic complexes with the DNA molecules, some precipitate (look like rod-like suspension) started to form after few seconds. . Any experience in this? Any clue bout the matter? I heard bout the word DNA sedimentation. Is it a good thing (seems like not good in my work) in certain cases? thanks
