I am a biology teacher in south africa. For gr 12 a new topic is added Evolution….we did not have this topic before…I see a lot of emotions coming out from teachers to teach this topic…like the belief in their religion they follow…Some teachers do not beleive in some of the evolution theory…what is your opinion?

At the very least, evolution is the most substantiated scientific explanation of the history of life; at the most, it is scientifically established fact. Either way, it deserves to be taught in schools, and teachers who believe otherwise should probably go back to school themselves.
