Ex-vivo changes in amino acid concentrations from blood stored at room temperature or on ice: implications for arginine and taurine measurements.

What basic fundamental biological principles is the research based on? (Grade 12 Biology)

I went on to discuss a bit about how it relates to amino acids, particularly arginine, taurine, glutamine, and trytophon.
I then went on about how it relates to metabolism, and the rate of enzymatic activity dependent on temperature.

      What else could I add?

EDIT: Here is the link to the article: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/article … ool=pubmed

I think the main thing you should discuss is the enzyme rate as it relates to temperature and perhaps discuss how it relates to a common model such as michaelis menten.
