Hi I was wondering if anyone could tell me how Fc/AP fusion probes work? Can you use them as you would in a normal in situ hybridisation to see expression patterns? Also what are the benefits to using them?

I’ve tried searching the net for this but there seems to be a real lack of basic information.

      Any explains would be great!

      Thanks 😀

I guess Fc is the part of antibody molecule, right? AP is alkaline phosphatase?

Are you sure, this is supposed to work for hybridization? I could imagine this for purification, but it has no active specific binding site for hybridization… 😕
