I have a question
What is the organelle that uses energy from food to make high-energy compounds????

Cytosol? Mitochondria? Intestine?

intestine is no organelle

i do not think it is cytosol. it could be mitochondria to a certain extent

I know, don’t worry 🙂 😆
It’s just quite stupid question 😉 Energy from food?Anyway, cytosol too, as there takes place the glycolysis 😉

Hi,
Yes, Mitochondria, please refer to the following site to know how ATP is generated from fatty acids by mitochondria.http://www.faqs.org/sports-science/Dr-F … ation.html

It would be mitochondria – mitochondria creates atp energy by a process called cellular respiration. This occurs in the inner folded membranes of the mitochondria. I believe your question was asking about glucose.
