yesterday I had the most frusrsting finels in cell biology…
It turns out that I had a few disagreements with the proffesor so I’m trying to prove her wrong and earn for some of us (students) points on the test….so here it is goes…

      1. lysosome – the proteins that get there are:
a/ only the ones targeted with manose 6 phosphate
b/ are enzyme linked receptors that finish endocytosis

      2. master genes…are they the ones who are responsible for making transcription factors? (from what I knew they are overseeing the regulatory genes – and they art the ones for trans.fact.)

      3. which of the follwings are SSDBP (sequence specific DNA binding proteins):
      telomerase
      primase
      DNA polymerase
      reprssore on the operetor sequence

      4. N-acetyl neuraminic acid – is it:
a/ an acid with a hydroxyl
b/ part of an oligosaccharide wich is conected to dolichole diphosophate

      thanks for the help…..

The answer for question 3 is the repressor that binds the operator.

The lecturer probably wrote the test, the study material and all your (her) lecturers. I admire that you feel you are right and want to research this but odds are she is correct.
