A lot of people can’t answer this simple question and I always wondered why.
We live in a very fast paced, no rest, busy internet time and people are always on the go even when they are sitting still. This means when they aren’t even doing anything, their minds are still in overdrive. Most adults don’t know how to relax.
There are lots of ways to relax. Some ways are designed to relax your mind and some to relax your body. But because of the way the mind and body are connected, many relaxation methods work on both the mind and the body. Take slow, deep breaths. Or try other breathing exercises for relaxation. Soak in a warm bath. Listen to soothing music. Practice mindful meditation. And practicing yoga is one of the best methods for body relaxation.
