      I have been working on this problem forever and still cant get it

      Here is the question
      If individual IV-1 had a daughter and a son, what whould the probability that the daughter is a carrier? That the son inherited the disorder.

      I get stuck on probability no matter what I do.

      Figure out what the phenotype of IV-1 is…(it’s not simple dominance)…then do two punnet squares against heterozygous female and homozygous.

      It seems that females are the carriers while males are the sufferers of the disease.

      Is there no legend for the diagram?
