in a particular eukaryotic cell, the DNA fails to uncoil. What effects will this have on gene expression in this cell?

I think that the gene will be alright, but I’m sure there’ll be something happend when it comes to the DNA replication. The gene will shout, "HEY !!! WHERE ARE YOU TOPOISOMERASES ?!?"… 😆

      No uncoiling—No mRNA—No protein—No gene expression—-Some phisiochemical problem—-Adverse or potentialy weaker phisiology.

He’s right. It’s basically a mass mutation. You’d die ASAP.
