      Hi, what is Lintner starch? Thanks.

      As much as I know it is an indicator.

      Here is the dictionary definition:

      Thin-boiling starch used in the laboratory as colorimetric indicator. Lintner stach is obtained by dilute hydrochloric acid treatment of native starch so that it retains the ability to colour blue with iodine.
