What about the chemical atoms and laws, they are driven by 😉

no it is not a riddle….its a stupid question from my bio book that i just cant find the answer to!

both are present in transport systems in plants? Xylem is dead tissue whilst phloem is living?

So what is the answer in your opinion?

Don’t you think, that living and non-living are composed from the same atoms? They don’t have the same chemo-physical laws?

you can also talk about the molecules present in them

sometime back i had seen an NMR showing different molecule concentration.
you could talk about diff in water amounts

I agree with Jackbean on this one. Both dead (or non-living) and living things are made of atoms and molecules (matter), and are under the same rules of physics.

I was gone to Mendoza, Argentina. I decided to scale Argentina’s infamous Mount Aconcagua. But when i came back i found out my PC didn’t work at all, so i had to get a new one, install all the programs back again… you know the drill. That meant another week with no access to the Internet and my precious biology-online.org 😥

I’m afraid not. i said i DECIDED to climb it, but the air conditioning at the hotel just felt too good, and the room was too cosy to go outdoors… 🙁
