Would it be genetically healthy for the population if some families would give birth to many children in every generation ?
For example Tom would have 5 children. Each of those children would give birth to 5 children. Each of those 5 would give birth to another 5 and so on.

It is an advantage if more generations would increase the population of a species. Increased popultions means increased chances of variability among species and survival as well. Not unless the detrimental mutations as the effect of negative biological impacts, that will surely be a different case at the same time.

It’s only genetically healthy if the offspring survive. If your parents/society/environment can’t support that many children, then there’s no point.
