So i got assigned this project,
i’m not asking anybody to do it for me, however, i am pretty stuck and i can’t get the info i need to complete.
I need a metaphoricle representation for chromoplast. This means that say, for a mitochondria, i need something like a small engine, for the nucleus, a brain, etc.
I know the function of the chromoplast (a plastid that stores and synthesizes pigments, that, inevitably makes photosynthesis more efficient for the certain eukaryotic species over different amounts of daylight that are present during different seasons)
So far all i got is something like a black shirt. This black shirt absorbs more energy than the white shirt. As you can tell, this is a very weak example, and is FAR from AP material. I need something for class to bring in and i am getting very stressed out. Also, the form of chromoplast must be represented, which i am assuming is very simular to that of chloroplasts, but Campbell AP Biology 7th edition doesn’t support that.
I’m stressing guys, and i know there are some creative minds out there that can help me.
😳 😥
Thanks for your time.-Thatonekid

Happy dude? sorry, i was in a hurry as i typed it.
Any info would be great.

You can compare the stirling engine to the conventional internal combustion engine if you’re comparing chromoplast to mitochondria see link already posted.
If you want to compare chromoplast to other choloroplasts you can compare first generation solar cells to newer technologies

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multijunct … ltaic_cellThanks man!!!
I have ideas as such, however, i left out that i need to bring it into class (i don’t have solar cells, nor random engines lying around).
It is not a comparison, however, but a metaphorical representation of chromoplast itself.
Thanks for the ideas anyway man!!!!
i really appreciate it, but i need a representation of chromoplast and chromoplast ONLY, and it needs to be something i can bring into class.

Maybe you could use some of those glow in the dark rubber stickers. This would show that they take in light energy to create energy (The light they give off).
