      Hi All

      I am conducting my research project and currently stuck at a point where I need to find out about the proteins role in active transport of ion (Na & K) in molecular level detail. Need to know everything about this Na-K ion transport mechanism, Contribution of protein in transport, Why NA & K, How does protein allows certain molecules to pass through and stops others etc….abt proteins…

      Can someone please guide me to get more information on these topics….

      carrier molecules are gateways basically, that help get specific molecules into the cells. remember that there are types of carrier molecules and thats why they ge different substances across the cell. the sodium-potassium function is basically when sodim is pumped out, then you have energy in the cell, the energy is used to change the shape of the carrier molecule and gets potassium in
