I’m currently in first year sciences in university. I just need some ideas that I could do for a Biology project. The teacher says it can be anything as long as it’s somehow related to Biology. Do you guys have any ideas that I could do?
Some ideas I’ve got are creating the human or paramecium (my bio teacher’s favourite pet, I lol’d) genome with swizzle sticks, a white full-sleeve shirt in which I draw and colour the nervous system of the back, left half of front is circulatory and right half is digestive and draw the muscular anatomy of the arms. Ideas about cell biology would be better because that is an area I thrive in, or immunology.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated,

what areas are you interested in? Cell biology is quite a huge area.

Motor proteins are pretty awesome. =]

then think something about motor proteins 😉
I’m not much sure about your assignment, whether shoudl you come up with something brand new or review old knowledge… - November 16, 2010 at 2:23 am #102292Tranc3rParticipant
Alright, I’m going to do a 3D representation of a motor protein moving an organelle. I’m going to talk to my prof tomorrow about it.

Alright, here it is! Me and my friend made it. Everything was under $15 and mostly homemade improvisation, took a while to get everything done. The laces are there to act as braces so that motor protein doesn’t fall over. The organelle is surprisingly keeping its position with the help of a couple chopsticks!

hmm, attachments are broken, must be over size limit. Here, I uploaded them to another site.
