1. Complete oxidation of glucose to CO2 and H2o generate the most ATP at what level?
a. glycolisis
b. pyruvate oxidation to Acetyl CoA
c. Krebs cycle
d. Oxidative phosphorylation
e. Substrate level phosphorylationMy answer: a produce 2atp, b produce 2, c 24, d 32, e 2
So, it is d. am I right? ๐ฏ2. Protein is denatured when
a. it became insoluble in water
b. peptide bond is broken
c. its biological activity is denaturedMy answer: c ๐
3. Which statement is not true about Km?
a. doesnโt change in presence of excess substrate
b. constant
c. not specific
d. decrease in presence of competitive inhibitors
e. low when reaction rate is highMy answer: d ๐ฏ
4. Which is not oxidized through aerobic respiration?
a. sucrose
b. lipid
c. nucleic acid
d. protein
e. glucoseMy answer: c because it sound sooooo out of place here 8)
5. Which is not true regarding Golgi body?
a. analogous to dictyosome in plant structure
b. has two faces
c. cisterna or forming faces toward endoplasmic reticulum
d. involve in packaging and secretion of cell products
e. located near cell membraneMy answer: I think b , c, d, and e are true. So, my answer, A โ
