How do integral proteins differ from peripheral proteins?

All text book about biology explain the point you are asking about.Integral proteins are hidrophilic in both of their edges –one which is exposed to intracellular and one exposed to extracellular environment. But the part located between two lipid bilayer is hidrophobic.
