I just have a few questions about protists 🙁 ;
1.) Compare plant-like protists with animal-like protists. How are they similar? How are they different?
2.) Spirogyra is similar to plants because the cells contain chloroplasts and have cell walls. Why isn’t it classified as part of the plant kingdom?
3.) Euglena does not have cell walls. Why is it considered to be a plant-like protist?
Any help is GREATLY appreciated! 🙂

Excuse me, maple_13afs. I did not understand what do you mean "protists" in the first question. Do you means that "protists" are organisms under the phylum protoctista. The answer for the second question is Spirogyra cannot classified in the plantae kingdom because the cell wall was consists of mucopeptide but not cellulose. Excuse me, Euglena is not classified in the plantae kingdom but it is classified under the protoctista kingdom in the sub-kingdom protozoa and it is classified under phylum euglenopyhta.
