I was wondering about how exactly Viral Glycoproteins attach to the viral envelope are there little molecular holes specific to the envelope that the Glycoprotein fits into for each virus or does the envelope form around the Glycoprotein attachment automatically like the envelope of a cell does for receptor proteins?
I have since this post answered my own question via research into Hybrid vectors, Adenoviruses have molecular holes being more crystalline as viruses like it and other viruses have a lipid envelope such as HIV-1, both are true depending on the species.
