Which of these statements is not true as a general rule?

      1. Microbial cells exist as single cells or in cell clusters
      2. Microbial cells carry out their life processes independently
      3. Microbial cells include both bacteria and viruses
      4. Microbial cells exclude the cells of plants and animals

      Thanks.

Look for the statement analogous to:

No.3 is quite incorrect because virus is acellular. It can not be considered as a microbial cell.

But the microbial cell can include viruses and cells. Just a word play on the word "include". What does the author mean by include? Is the cell within another cell and is the virus inside a cell? Is it included in that sense?
