      hi
i’m 17 and want to start reading books about biologie, genetics, mikrobiology and everything that’s to know about it.
so i’d need some basic books or links (but i prefer the books) about these topics. they should be easily understandable and some graphics.
i want to become a biology student in about 2 years and just want to get started with it.
      so please recommend some books.

      yours,

      Alex

Not a textbook but it helped me a lot to understand microbiology:
The other end of the microscope from Elmer W Koneman.

It gives a lot of detailed information (composition of the cell wall etc) in a story-context and is really easy to read and understand. And much more fun than textbooks 🙂
