Hi all!
im new here, but i need to ask…
when you look up an article, it doesnt contain the author, how would i go about referencing to the author?
or do i reference to Biology Online team?

Typically posts in online fora are not cited in reports. They are not really considered authoritative sources of scientific information (though we like to think they can be helpful). You would probably be better off using the forum post as a jumping-off point for a search of the primary scientific literature, then cite a peer-reviewed paper or at least a review article in a reputable journal.
Try hunting in PubMed or PubMed Central (PMC) on the NCBI website.

you will probably reference to the web page you found. But it usability of such a reference depends on where you want to use it 😉
