Hi there,
I just wanna make sure if the notes given in class are correct…
This is what it says…
Rhamnogalacturonan I (RG1) is a Linear polymer of alternating galacturonic acid (GalA) and rhamnose (Rha) molecules
-alpha-Rha-(1–>4)-alpha-GalA-(1–>2)-alpha-Rha-(1–>4)-a-GalA-(1–>2)–etcetcBut shouldn’t it be
-alpha-Rha-(1–>2)-alpha-GalA-(1–>4)-alpha-Rha-(1–>2)-a-GalA-(1–>4)–etcetc??
Thanks in advance
