I’ve been looking in my textbook and notes, but I can’t seem to find all the information I need.
The question is:
What are the three types of RNA? WHat is the function of each type? During which steps of protein synthesis is each type used?I know the three types are:
1. mRNA (messenger RNA)
2. rRNA (ribosomal RNA)
3. tRNA (transfer RNA)I can’t seem to find what the function of each one is, and which step in protein synthesis they’re used in.
If you could help, that would be lovely.
Thanks! - March 2, 2009 at 3:16 am #89410MrMisteryParticipant
look them up on wikipedia.org
PS: there are many more types of RNA (I think I can list about ten types of the top of my head) - March 8, 2009 at 3:53 am #89542canalonParticipant
