* Drink extra H2O (before, during and after)
* Alternate alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
* Limit the total number of drinks
* Consume no more than 1 drink per hour
* Sip rather than gulp
* Choose a designated driver (before drinking)
* Eat before drinking
* Don’t accept drinks from strangers
* Make plans to show up and leave with the same group
* Stop drinking 1–2 hours before going home
* Pour your own drink
* Don’t leave your drink unattended

Heh, looking at your list I just realized that I failed to do pretty much everything mentioned in it when I was boozing last night. A kind of accomplishment, must be!

No. You need to get 100% completion. You’re probably at about 60%.
I recommend taking the week off and grinding, I hear you get good loot.

These questions sound like something from a silly health class. Real simple; read your dang book.

It’s possible to have a great time getting drunk. You just have to know your limit and not exceed it.

But it’s fun only when you exceed your limits!! 🙁

I believe you Europeans drink much more than we do. European nations at least tend to have more liberal drinking laws. Makes me want to move to Europe.
June 25, 2009 at 5:47 am #91559
I’m not American, actually. I’m from Europe, and yes I’m pretty certain that most, if not all, of the top 10 drinking nations come from Europe. Well, the Russians might be there, too 😛
June 25, 2009 at 5:55 am #91560
Hmmh, actually there seems to be a fair bit of variation among the charts. Most of the charts I checked had only European countries in the top 10, but e.g. Wikipedia lists some oddballs there, like Uganda topping the chart, but with the following footnote:
"Several African countries (Burundi, Nigeria, Swaziland and Uganda) appear in the list in the top 30 positions of adult per capita consumption. This is because the calculations were based on FAO data which included fermented beverages and estimates of beer produced locally from sorghum, millet and other agricultural products."
In any case if you look at the alcohol consumption map at Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Alcoh … ld_map.PNG) the picture seems pretty clear: Europe rules at least when it comes to drinking! 😉

Well drinking is just fine. Make sure it’s moderately done.

Im from Australia, apparently we outdo all of you in drinking habits.
Around where I am, people scull, get drunk on cheap stuff then throw it up so they can begin on the expensive stuff, its sort of like preparation, although my friend ended up in an ambulance on 2 liters of red goon (cheap wine).
July 1, 2009 at 1:56 am #91689MrMisteryParticipant
wouldn’t it make more sense to first drink the good stuff, and then when you’re already a bit out of it drink the cheap stuff, you can’t tell the difference anyway

That’s what I usually do. According to the Gospels, even Jesus did that.
