Have U heard about wavy cures? No? then see this-
_ Some scientists from Bharat say that the classical music of Bharat helps cure and prevent some diseases / disorders
including cancer, B.P. disorders, insomnia, specifically leukemia etc. How do they know that or how do they prove that , I am unaware of.
Its also observed that the plants and animals grow better due to classical music. Do U believe?
If this is true then how does this work???
See , I being a student of music , I know alittle more about classical music from Bharat ,
See, it is recognised by the antient singers that music is more than entertainment.
They have classified it as per its nature as serius , mighty [ don’t take the literal meaning ]
Also, there is a time table of when to sing which type of melody , some experienced
singers from Bharat say that singing them on wrong timing makes them feel uneasy ,
further, in that timing U have a natural intution to sing that type of melody.

Are there similar examples or experiences from other cultures???

I heard about the influence of music on plants too. However i was skepticle so i decided to try it myself.
The results were impressing:
I put two plants in 2 different rooms, at the same sunlight(and every other) conditions.
I played classical music to one and the other nothing. After 4 weeks the musical plant grew 12 cm more and had a shiner colour.
I do not know why this happened or how it did, but it just did. So my opinion is that those scientists aren’t talking rubbish.

Wow, U have tried it! ! !
But, you cannot be sure as the sunlight, ventillation, soil, water conditions may be different. But, still, from the statement of scientists and ur expt. you can claim that it is true. My pets also, enjoy the music very much – they enjoy classical music ya. classical. they are from well cultured house at last !!! 😀
But human diseases? Can it cure or help cure /prevent those? ? ?

I can think of a stupid way that could work. When classical music is played, it relaxes the nervous system, somehow affecting synapses. This may be possible in insomnia cases, but how does it affect cancer?!?

I don’t know , I can just guess.
What the wavelengths can do to relax nerves or favour plant growth or cure cancer etc.
I think, in humans, state of body , immunity , is also affected by nervous system and thus , as music can [relax and make it concentrate] psychologically and thus physiologically, it improves immunity which may help immune system to recognise cancer cells and kill them.
Also, I think, there is very less possibility of music causing [ not simply favouring]
any molecular level changes directly. What’s ur opinion ? ? ?

Oh I’ve got something-

As per my knowledge the usefulness of music in these fields is modern in Bharat.
But , today I got something that said that the raga’s affect the chakra’s [ literally wheels , true meaning – power regulating centers] >
Today’s musicians here, can’t claim sucha thing, so it must be ancient .
Whatever it may be , how do raga’s affect the chakra’s is IMP. I’m just thinking over that
and searching for info, please participate. I’ve to write an article about this in biology students’ news paper .

chakra: power centers in our biody &imporatant chakras exist [ i believe the theory]
They regulate the functioning of body.
raga: a group of musical note out of total 22 notes which are played with a definite style or order specefic for that raga.

We have seven main Chakar’s in the body, they all have a color and they all have a wave length. What I am looking for is witch key "of muisc like C,G,F" goes to witch Chakar?

i’ve a software which has wavelengths corresponding to each body-part & chakra… its free down load from a numerology site…i’ll soon send you that when i get reach to my ‘P’C…19\05\2006 OK?
Actually there are Raagas in classical music from BHarat that are said to correspond to diff. chakras…if u r interested…
