Wanted…an academic book on plant structure

      A needle in a haystack question.

      I can recall in the 1970s seeing an excellent book on major UK plant species with picture and diagrams of their individual primary and secondary structures.

      So, for example, looking at Lime/Tilia it would have diagrams of th flower structure with x-sections of the stem and roots and details of secondary thickening etc….highlighting any differences from the "typical" model.

      Can anyone help in the name of the original book or indeed an alternative?
