Ammonium sulfate Hepta hydrate
NH4 is ammonium
SO4 is sulfate
Hepta is 7
Hydrate is H2O in this case that has been included in the crystal.
CAS is 7783-20-2 - November 11, 2011 at 8:02 am #108018JackBeanParticipant
the CAS is of ammonium sulphate. I doubt, that ammonium sulphate forms any hydrate, since the water ioften bound to the cation.
