Yeah… I got linked to this site in economics and i was wondering what the hell string theory is… not sure if its relevant to biology but can you help a mexican out?
By the way im looking for a room mate for New Mexico Tech… Interested?

The string theory is a notion of cuantum physics that tries to explain how is it that our space and time can expand and contract influenced by the energy of everything…
A more interesting and recent concept are branas. Branas, introduced by Stephen Hawking and others, are bodies in a various number of dimensions. PArticular cases are 1-branas=strings, and 2-branas=membranes. It is said that our universe is an 11-brana, meaning that the universe has 11 dimensions… Things are extremely complicated and only theoretical - February 15, 2006 at 10:47 pm #41007canalonParticipant
Yep, but in English it is written Quantum physiscs, and they are dealing with P-bran[b]e[/e]s (with P an integer).
And it is hardly science since as far as the thing is developped, it is impossible to falsify. Yet it may be the theoritical foundation of the theory of everything.
