There are three proteins and the percent identity (how similar they are to each other) for them is the following:

      sequence 1 vs sequence 2: 55%
      sequence 1 vs sequence 3: 57%
      sequence 2 vs. sequence 3: 96%

When looking at sequences 2 and 3, they are extremely close to each other. It is mentioned that the basic helix-loop-helix domain is found on the NH-terminal.

Also, I have to say where the biggest gaps in the proteins are found.

Based on the percentages and olocation of helix-loop-helix domain, is the strongest identity on the middle of the protein and the gaps at the NH terminal (the gaps lead to large evolutionary change)?

      Thank you!

      What are you asking for?
