What’s performance testing?

      Hi,

      I’m a lab tech who does medical research. I have no experience with ecology or the study of evolution in the laboratory.

      I recently learned that performance is studied in the lab to gain insight related to evolution in the natural environment.

      Can anyone please tell me more about what performance studies are in terms of evolution?
