Hi, does anyone know by any chance what temperature is needed in vivo to destroy mRNA? thanks.

in vivo? In vivo is RNA degraded by RNases, not by temperature.

      yes, I know.
but I can temporarily increase the temperature in a very limited space within a cell, and I want to know what temperature I need to reach in order to destroy mRNA.

well, RNA is quite unstable by itself, so like 60-80°C could be fine…
