Hi, I am trying to write a word equation to outline the reactions involved for lactase hydrolyzes into glucose and galactose. Galactose is then converted to another glucose by galactosidase. I am not sure how to do this.

something like that:
H2O2 + Catalase –> H2O + O2Approximations and simplifications included

Usually, people write the name of catalyst above the the arrow in the equation.
I think the way people define the meaning of word equation is to write the name of the reatant and product. I will give an example like this:we have an equation:
NaOH + HCl —> NaCl + HOH
Now we write it in word equation:
When sodium hydroxide reacts with hydrochloric acid to produce sodium chloride(table salt) and water.
or : Sodium chloride and water are produced when sodium hydroxide reacts with hydrochloric acid.
