Describe the metabolic reaction (with single and overall reactions) for yeast wen oxygen is available and the glucose is decreasing gradually.
I’m not sure exactly what would happen. Would the cell respire aerobically or anaerobically for faster growth even though there is oxygen. Does a diauxic shift happen here? It doesn’t mention a second energy source, but if I were to assume one, then why would a diauxic shift happen?
