Could someone please explain how Yglc is calculated and what exactly it refers to in an experimental setting?
Any help would be appreciated. - April 15, 2010 at 8:05 am #99010JackBeanParticipant
Could you please explain what Yglc means?

Y(glc) As in subscript glc. Otherwise I have no other information, that is precisely why I am asking the question to begin with.
Edit:
Lets put this into context:So lets say we have two Yglc values, one higher (call it value A) and one lower (call it value B).
If there is a medium with only glucose versus a medium with glucose + all amino acids, how will the Yglc values correspond?
