Hi everyone. I’m new, and i don’t know anything about biology.
However I have a question that someone might be able to answer, or an explanation to the following statement:
I can’t burp.
Yep, I can’t burp. I fart a lot, but i simply can’t burp naturally or falsely. I cannot recall the last time i "belched". Is there any inparticular reason why this is? I also never get indigestion. Is this related? If someone can provide a solid explanation I would be very happy to know.
Thanks.

What I know from the book is that consuming a rich protein food altogether with so many rich carbohydrate food is not good for your stomach because it will result much gas which will end as fart… 😆

Have you tried with drinking soda? Soft drinks contain dissolved carbondioxyde, which is normally will be released as free carbondioxyde after few minutes as a burp.

I drink fizzy drinks all the time. I cant burp. I cant fake burp, and I cant burp naturally. But i pass wind A LOT. And i was wondering if the large quantity of farts are compensating for me not burping. I was just interested to see how common this is. Is it possible that most kids learn and accept that burping is natural at a young age, whereas with me i never learnt to burp as a child, and my brain cannot compute the process which requires me to belch now as a 20 year old?
