  What is the name of the process whereby a template is copied to give a new polynucleotide? Is it transcription? I really have no idea…

  I’m not really sure, we have been given a list of meanings and a list of words to match them to. I now have down ‘replication’ as it seems to be the only one that sort of fits by looking at the definition in the dictionary on here.

  Of course replication is the right answer. look up semiconservative replication which is how DNA copies itself
