how is CO2 transported in the blood, how is ventilation regulated with respect to arterial pO2,pCO2 and pH and what role do the central and periferal receptors in the medulla and glomus aorticum/caroticum play in regulating blood pH. How are the kidneys involved ?

Blood pH depends on the same as anythings pH. The concentration of H+ ions. Look up blood/kidney homeostatic mechanisms and you should be able to find alot of information.
