I need help getting started on this problem:
In humans, the ABO and Rh are under the control of autosomal genes. If two parents who are both A positive, produce a child who is type O negative, what is the probability their next child will be type O positive?
So…where do I start? Do a punnett square? I have a hard time pulling out the info that is needed to anwer the quesiton.

Yes, I’d do a punnet square…
Set up a dihybrid cross, then check the resulting genotypes and their percentages - May 3, 2009 at 3:49 pm #90558sanjidcapaParticipant

Here’s a clue: you should be able to figure out the kid’s alleles, and from that the parent’s alleles.
