  I am studying AS Level Biology OCR (In the UK).
  My student book is completely useless. Can someone outline the roles of membranes within cells and at the surface of cells?
  And; state the plasma (cell surface) membranes are partially permeable barriers.
  HELP 🙁

  Why don’t you ask on your superb forum? I’m sure there are plenty of relevant books or web pages, just look for them.
