Most cell types are <50 micron in diameter. What cell types have a bigger diameter? In other words, are there cells with a size of about 100 micron? What kind of cells (except oocytes)?

Certain nervous cells are several meters length in giraffes, whales… but in human some of the biggest neurons have cell bodies that are 100 micrometers wide and some skeletal muscle cells are several centemeters. 🙂

Skeletical muscle cells are 100 microns wide and over 15 centimeters long. The muscle fibers from organs are up to 100 microns long and 2-4 microns wide. The egg cell is 200-300 microns in diameter.
