I am looking for some information on centrioles. Why are centrioles located by the nucleus? Any help with this would be appreciated

Centrioles are active during Cell Division
During Let’s take an example of Mitosis Cell Division
In the Prophase The Centriole Will Duplicate It self so there are a pair each will move to the opposite poles of the cell where Spindle Fibers are present.
They help is organising them…I know only this much….you can get more information via Google

and they originate from centrosomes-absent in plants

just to be clear: plants do have centrosomes, only they lack centrioles. plants however, do have some similar structures, named polar calots(not sure about translation)
