I am planning some work using CMNB caged fluorescein for some in-vivo injection and imaging. I’ve never used any caged fluorophore before and I was wondering if anyone has any advice with regards to its use. What kind of buffer would I want to dissolve this stuff in? How could I accurately make a buffer with a low enough ionic strength so that it stays stable until I flash it with UV? I don’t want to go through much trial and error with this stuff because it’s a little expensive.

Is it your tracer for in vivo?
